Suriya, his father Sivakumar, mother, and Jothika visited Jayalalitha's residence at Poes Garden to deliver the invitation for Karthi's wedding personally. It is expected that she will attend the reception. The wedding itself will be held in the bride's native place and will be a traditional affair with family and intimate friends gracing the occassion.

The entire Sivakumar family will be leaving on the morrow and are expected to return on the 4th after the wedding festivities have been completed. The reception is to be held in Le Royal Meridian, Chennai.

Suriya in Vetri Maaran's next?

National award winner, Vetri Maaran may just do a film with Suriya. It will be produced by Cloud Nine movies and will have a budget that is estimated at 75 crores. Set against a temple background, it will be a period film that will tell the story of the struggle to build a temple by a group of individuals led by a charismatic hero. Suriya heard the script and he was floored. The actor is almost done with 7am Arivu but he has agreed to do a film with Hari next. He will do Vetri Maaran's project after the film with Hari. In the meantime, Vetri Maaran may finish Vada Chennai, since the script for this film was readied a long time ago. Word is that he has Silambarasan in mind for this role.

Surya-Bala Movie Nanda To Be Dubbed In Telugu

It’s obvious that Suriya’s films dubbed in Telugu get a good reception. Now, we have his yesteryear hit movie Nandha dubbed as Bala-Suriya, which will be released by Nagamalla Shankar of Sri Siva Shankara Art Productions.

Though the film is more than a decade old, the producers are positive as they feel the power-packed performance of Suriya and stunning direction by Bala will draw more crowds to the theatre. The dubbing works have already commenced and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s songs will hit audio stores by the end of June while the theatrical release is scheduled for the third week of July.

Maatran on hold, thanks to Karthi!

Suriya's next Maatran with KV Anand is scheduled to commence only after his younger brother, Karthi's wedding, which will take place on July 3rd. The wedding will be a traditional, intimate affair with only family and friends attending. A grand reception will be held on July 11th. Suriya is very busy with preparations for the wedding.

Since Suriya will be busy with the wedding, Maatran has been postponed for a while. KV Anand was very understanding and accommodating about the whole thing.

They will discuss about the film and possibly churn out some catchy numbers, says a source close to the development. It is said that they want to repeat the magic of Ayan and Ko again, it further adds.

The countdown begins! Yes, the much-awaited audio launch of 7am Arivu will take place on July 7^th or 8^th. The film’s music director Harris Jayraj has said yesterday that the audio launch will take place in 30 days time.

The expectation for this album has grown manifold because that music director has included a Chinese track, which will be the highlight.

With the audio launch scheduled, the date for the film’s release may not be far off. An official announcement on the music launch date and release date will be made soon.

Maatran To Begin

The first schedule of Suriya's Maatran will begin in the second week of July. The unit will be shooting in and around Chennai and Suriya's scenes will be filmed first. On its completion, KV Anand is considering shooting the second schedule in Russia where it is expected that Kajal Agarwal, the heroine will join the team.

Their daughter Diya was the life of the party and took all the kids present under her wing. Suriya's parents, Karthi, and cousin Gnanavel Raja were present. From the film fraternity, Ajith, Shalini, their daughter Anushka, Bala, Hari, and Udhayanidhi Stalin were present.
