Suriya Speaks about 7am A
After 7 Am Arivu, Surya is busy with Maatran. Directed by K V Anand, the movie brings together Ayan team again. Kajal Agarwal plays the heroine.
Asked about doing action-flicks back-to-back, Surya says, 'I generally don’t plan things. I take what comes my way. But for now, I’m not too keen on doing a romantic film as there are a lot of other genres to experiment with and I have to give different kinds of films to my fans.
'Even if I get an opportunity to do a romantic film, it should be better than Vaaranam Aayiram, he adds.buzz is that after Maatran he may join hands with Hari for Singam's sequel.

Bullet points in Surya's Press note via Prathibha (Journalist, CNN IBN)
My Intention was to move away from regular hero formulaic films and do something different. Shruti has an equally important role.
I haven't seen Velayudham. But both the films have done well this time. Those who have watched the film have appreciated it.
7aum arivu a biggest commercial success in my career-has exceeded even Singham, which is said to be my best so far.
My father was in tears and he hugged me after watching the film.
Rajini sir watcehd the film and shook my hands said fantastic work and appreciated me for the hardwork.
Kamal sir also appreciated the film and said to Vairamuthu sir- that this boy is in his full form. Kamal sir taught me cinema and I am grateful that he has a special affection for me.
Internet users have a different perspectives. I really value their reviews and responses and will help me in decisions in my career.

7am Arivu in French theaters until Tuesday, November 15
Ezham Arivu was so successful that the Gaumont Saint Denis decided to extend its distribution until Tuesday, November 15, with three sessions per day. Return on this unprecedented success in France.
"More than 50 sessions broadcast in France, twenty were sold, and thousands of tickets sold! "We said an organizer of the broadcast. Here are the results of the release of Ezham Arivu, which will remain in the halls of Saint Denis until Tuesday, November 15. For more information: http://www.aannafilms.fr/
All those who attended the film could see it was not just the Tamils in the rooms, the French were also likely to come and see Ezham Arivu.
General awareness
The message that we passed through Ezham Arivu is likely to change the mentality of many Franco-Pondicherry who have never really interested in the fate of their fellow Tamils in Sri Lanka. Indeed, the film brings out its support to the oppressed Tamils of Sri Lanka, as we have seen in the various "dialogue" of Surya.
It is also a recognition for all the Tamil youth. "Do not forget our language, do not forget our culture, be proud of our ancient culture." Today, the Tamil youth in major cities of Tamil Nadu prefer to use English to communicate rather than Tamil. Speaking Tamil is "old fashioned", while speaking English it is "trendy".
For example, in Tamil Nadu, more and more young people to the urban middle class, drop the learning of Tamil in favor of English and other European languages like French. These future leaders of Tamil Nadu reach a stage where they do not even know read the language of our ancestors.

7aum Arivu trumps Velayudham in all A Centers outside of Tamil Nadu
7aum Arivu trumps Velayudham in all A Centers outside of Tamil Nadu 7aum Arivu won against Velayudham in every single A centers outside of Tamil Nadu. Even though everbody expected that 7aum Arivu to perform better than Velayudham. It is surprising to see the margin of difference between 7Aum Arivu and Velayudham. 7aum Arivu roughly made 2.18 times more collection compared to Velayudham in PVR and Cinemax from major cities in India (Outside of Tamil Nadu). Similar pattern is seen across all major multiplex chains across the nation.

Suriya buys a bike
Guess why? To drop his daughter Diya at school. "She likes a lot riding a motorbike and because of her I have bought home a new two-wheeler. I drop her at school whenever I find time, of course by wearing a helmet," says the 'Bodhi Dharman' of '7aum Arivu'.
Heaping laurels on his daughter, Suriya says, "Diya is so matured and she bonds very well with her younger brother Dev. The very first thing she does after coming back home from school is to search for Dev. Jyothika and I are gifted with Diya and Dev."
The Sivakumars give so much importance to the two children at their home- Diya and Dev. It is a habit of the family to go out for dinner on Saturdays and these two little members decide where the elders should take them. "Yes they are the deciding authorities," adds their uncle Karthi.
"Because, that's how our dad celebrated three of us (he, Suriya and sister Brinda) and we are now doing the same to Diya and Dev. They are so cute and intelligent. Both share a great affection for each other and spending time with them is our important work at home," he says.
