Anjaan Teaser reaches Million views!

The teaser of Surya-Samantha's upcoming film "Anjaan" has received massive response online.
The teaser was launched at the grand Vijay Awards function on Saturday and was also uploaded online on the same day. The video, showing Surya as a stylish gangster, has evoked overwhelming response from the fans. 

The teaser crossed a million YouTube views in less than 48 hours.The teaser has also been listed in the popular videos of YouTube India.

Looking at the teaser, one can expect "Anjaan" to be a stylish action entertainer with all the commercial elements including romance, song, punch dialogues and comedy. The film's first look posters have already received fantastic response and now that the teaser is fetching positive feedback, expectations surrounding the film have increased.

Directed by Lingusamy, "Anjaan" will reportedly have Surya in dual roles. Samantha plays the female lead for the first time opposite Surya. Vidyut Jamwal of "Thuppakki" fame, Dalip Tahil, Rajpal Yadav and Manoj Bajpai, comedian Soori are also part of the film's cast. Popular bollywood actor Chitrangada Singh will be doing a special song in the film.The shooting of "Anjaan" is completely wrapped up and the film's team is currently busy with the post-production work.
 The audio and trailer release of the Surya starrer is expected to take place on 17 July.
"Anjaan" is gearing up for a big release on 15 August. The film will also be dubbed in Telugu and released in Andhra Pradesh as Surya's films have a huge market in the state.

The Telugu version is reportedly titled as "Sikander" and the film is likely to release along with the Tamil version on Independence Day.Sridhar Lagadapati has bought "Anjaan" Telugu dubbing rights and he will be distributing the film in Andhra and Telangana on his Larsco Entertainment banner. "Anjaan" distribution rights have been sold for whopping price in other states including
Kerala and Karnataka as well as in overseas markets. Yahaya Bhai of United India Exports will market the film in foreign locations, reported the Times of India.
Anjaan's audio rights has been bagged by Sony music south.The film's music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The action entertainer is produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Thirrupathi Brothers.

Surya Venkat Prabhu movie gets a Masss title !

The much awaited title of Surya - Venkat Prabhu movie has been revealed today. The movie has been titled as "Masss". Director Venkat prabhu tweeted the movie has been titled as "Masss" - A Venkat Prabhu Title.

Surya Venkat Prabhu film was launched on April 14. Nayanthara and Amy Jackson will be playing the leading ladies.
Popular Lyricist Madhan Karky has been brought on board to pen the dialogues for this project. He had earlier written dialogues for Enthiran, Nanban and Idharkuthaaney Aasaipattai Balakumara. 

Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is produced by Studio Green.

SuRyA to debut as a singer in Anjaan

Looks like Surya is set to go that extra mile to ensure his film with Lingusamy, Anjaan, clicks with the audience. While he had strained to sport different looks in the film, the latest is he will be singing a song in it as well. The actor, we hear, will be recording the number, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, this week.

A source in the know reveals, "While Surya had earlier sung a jingle for a coffee brand he endorses, this is the first time that he will be singing for a film. Yuvan has composed a breezy, peppy number and he will be recording it with Surya latest by this week."

Subash Chandrabose, who is co-producing the film, says, "Surya was immediately game for singing in the film when we told him the idea. He even started practicing the number. Once this song gets recorded, the entire album will be ready. We are planning to launch the music in a grand manner later this month."

SuRyA to work with Manam director Vikram Kumar!

Surya is one of the most busiest actors in Kollywood. The Ghajini star, who is busy with his forthcoming movie Anjaan, is taking up projects one after the other. The actor, who will begin a movie with Venkat Prabhu soon, is likely to take up Vikram Kumar's film.

As per the reports, Surya had talks with director Vikram Kumar, who is basking in the success of Telugu superhit movie Manam. The actor was impressed by the storyline and instantly gave green signal for the movie.

The proposed project will take off once Surya completes Venkat Prabhu's movie. Other details about the cast and crew are not yet revealed.
