Sun TV Has 7am Arivu

Sun TV has purchased the satellite rights of 7am Arivu. Going by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s habit of selling his films only to Kalaignar TV and Vijay TV, he has chosen Sun TV this time. Kalanidhi Maran met Udhayanidhi Stalin at the Maran Towers and they reportedly worked it out there.
Sun TV has purchased the film at a whopping Rs. 7 crore. In addition to it, the audio launch to be held at Singapore on September 10, 2011 will be telecast live on the channel. 7am Arivu has Surya and Shruti Hassan in the lead while AR Murugadoss returns to Tamil with this film.
Udhayanidhi Stalin produced the movie under his Red Giant Movies banner. Although Sun TV has expected the release rights of the movie, Udhayanidhi Stalin has held it up. It would be wise to release the film through some neutral production house, say trade analysts. All three biggest releases of the year have gotten closer to their release dates.

No Surya act for '7am Arivu' audio launch - Times Of India Article

7am arivu audio will be launched in a grand manner in Chennai on the 22nd of September. The music by Harris Jayaraj, is said to be a treat, both musically and visually. 

But all eyes are on the hero of the film - Surya - who initially planned to perform all the stunts he learnt while shooting for 7am Arivu (he plays a circus artist in one segment of the film) live at the audio launch. But that doesn't look like happening now. "Yes, that was on the cards but it's unlikely that it'll happen now," adds the source, Surya is actively shooting for K V Anand's Maatran right now and would need a lot of practise to actually perform some of the circus tricks that he learnt several months ago. 

In fact, the actor who shot in a circus in Coimbatore for his sequences - had successfully walked on the trapeze and juggled with almost six balls back then. He also worked hard and learnt to walk on his hands, a feat that's commonly done by circus folk! But now, considering that he shot for his sequences as a monk (the other role he plays in the film) in China after the circus scenes and is now busy with Maatran, performing the tricks he learnt live is highly unlikely.

7am Arivu - the date is confirmed!

he Diwali line-up for this year is getting ready and its really big. Velayudham has already been confirmed and the audio launch was held last week. Now, its Surya’s turn to wow the industry with the audio launch of 7am Arivu.

The movie is already one of the most closely watched ones of the year by both industry sources and fans alike because it marks the return of AR Murugadoss to Tamil after delivering the blockbuster Ghajini with Surya. The film will also see Shruti Haasan’s debut as an actress in Tamil. Things become even more special because the composer is Harris Jayaraj and the memories of the Ghajini score still lingers in our minds.

We don’t need more reasons to go high on anticipation. Adding to this, we have received many tidbits about the characters that Surya will be playing in the movie. The stills too have been quite eye-capturing.

Now, the breaking news! The audio launch of 7am Arivu has been scheduled to be held at the Chennai Trade Center on the 22nd of September, at 6.00 PM. And, it is going to be a grand ceremony attended by the bigwigs of the Tamil film industry. The producer, Udhayanidhi Stalin, has promised some high voltage performances during the event.
